Due to the passage of Tropical Storm Grace over the Cayman Islands forecast from early morning and early Wednesday morning, Cayman Airways decided to suspend all its scheduled flights for today to protect the safety of passengers, crews and other employees.
Cancellations apply to the three islands and to Cayman Airways Cargo operations, ticket sales offices and administration.
The airline expects to resume its regular flights on Thursday, and informs that affected passengers with trips to the United States and Jamaica will not have to undergo another COVID-19 test since the regulations accept a 24-hour extension of the validity of the same when it is due to flight delays.
According to the information provided by the airline, the schedule for the repatriation flight KX3102 to Miami is still maintained on Thursday 19 at 8 a.m., with return at 12 p.m. The KX3600 repatriation flight from Kingston would depart at 12 p.m., returning at 2:15 p.m.
Passengers with flights that have not been impacted by cancellations or rescheduling may voluntarily change their travel dates without penalty if they have tickets to travel between Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac or Little Cayman between Monday, August 16 and Thursday, August 19.
