Albuquerque, NM (August 22, 2021) - At least one person was injured in a car accident in Albuquerque on Saturday, August 21. Paramedics arrived at the collision site at 6:24 p.m. that night. The incident occurred between 1st Street NW and Mountain Road NW, according to local police. There were confirmed injuries as a result of the incident. Ambulances were dispatched to the area, and those injured were transported to local hospitals. As a result of the incident, all westbound lanes were closed. The accident victims were treated on the spot by paramedics. The extent of the injuries has yet to be determined. The identity of those who had been injured had not been revealed in the early reports. The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating the crash.
