Las Vegas – Injury Accident Reported at W Sahara Ave - Burg Simpson

Las Vegas, NV (August 24, 2021) – Emergency crews were requested at the scene of a traffic-related incident in the Las Vegas area that ended in injuries. At around 2:52 p.m., on August 23, calls for assistance came in regarding a crash on West Sahara Avenue.

Reports from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department indicate that a collision between vehicles blocked West Sahara Avenue at the intersection of South Fort Apache Road during the afternoon hours. The incident caused moderate delays in the area as crews worked to clear the scene.

At least one person sustained confirmed injuries in the accident. Medics provided treatment to injured parties on-site before transporting those in need of further care to area hospitals. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
