Commerce City, CO – One Person Loses Life in Head-On Crash - Burg Simpson

Commerce City, CO (August 27, 2021) – A head-on collision reported in Commerce City claimed one person’s life early Friday morning. At around 5:22 a.m., on August 27, the Commerce City Police Department was requested at the scene of an accident on Tower Road. Reports from CCPD show that a pickup truck and a garbage truck were involved in a head-on collision in the 8900 block of Tower Road, just north of the intersection of East 88th Avenue. The driver of the pickup truck sustained fatal injuries and was immediately pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the incident remains under investigation. We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family of the victim who lost their life in this accident. Our thoughts are with them at this time.
