Kimball has to cancel game vs. Carter because of COVID-19 issue - The Dallas Morning News

Carter couldn’t play its season opener because it had a COVID-19 issue.

Now, Carter’s Week 2 game has been canceled because of a COVID-19 problem at Kimball, Dallas ISD announced Monday.

That is the second Dallas-area game canceled for this week after 13 games were canceled for COVID-19 reasons in Week 1. Last week, Garland Naaman Forest had to cancel its first three games of the season, including this week’s game against Flower Mound.

There were 141 football games in the Dallas area that were canceled or postponed for COVID-19 reasons last season.
