NELSON COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — Nelson County Schools will be closed again Monday.
The school district posted to Facebook Monday morning that classes had been canceled for a second day after shuttering its doors Friday, as well.
NCPS cited an ongoing investigation by the Nelson County Sheriff's Office into social media threats of violence.
"Our top priority is the safety of our students and staff," NCPS said.
If you have information about these threats, call the Sheriff's Office.
Friday, NCPS closed schools after an altercation between two students on Thursday.
