Oxford, MS (September 1, 2021) – Local police were sent to Hinds County on Tuesday, August 31 to help with a traffic incident.
According to eyewitness testimony, the incident occurred near Chaney’s Pharmacy on Bramlett Boulevard. At 3:50 p.m. on the same day, the accident was reported to local police. While first responders arrived on the site, many roads were closed.
At least one person was hurt, according to emergency responders on the site. The injured people were treated on the spot by medical personnel. Early reports did not specify the number of persons present at the time of the event. The severity of the injuries sustained as a result of the event is still unknown.
The incident is currently being investigated by local law enforcement. No more information has been provided at this time.
