Cascade, CO – Injuries Reported in Crash on Highway 24 - Burg Simpson

Cascade, CO (August 30, 2021) – Emergency crews were requested at the scene of a traffic-related incident early Sunday morning that ended in injuries. Just after 12:15 a.m., on August 29, calls for assistance came in regarding a crash on Highway 24.
Reports from local authorities indicate that a collision blocked the area of 296 West Highway 24 during the early morning hours. The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and firefighters responded to the scene and closed off the roadway as they worked to restore the flow of traffic.
At least one person sustained injuries in the crash. EMS tended to those harmed briefly before transporting those in need of further care to area hospitals. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
