Silverton, OH – Car Crash with Injuries on I-71 near MM 10.3 - Burg Simpson

Silverton, OH (August 29, 2021) – Emergency crews were requested at the scene of an accident in the Silverton area that ended in injuries. At around 2:10 p.m., on August 27, calls for assistance came in regarding a crash on Interstate 71.
Reports from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office show that a silver 2017 Ford Fusion was traveling north in the right lane of Interstate 71. For unknown reasons, the driver of a red 2018 Honda Accord improperly entered their lane. The impact of the crash caused the Honda to crash into the Ford. The Ford then went off the right side of the road, struck a guardrail, and spun clockwise.
The driver of the Ford, a 29-year-old female, was transported to Jewish Hospital for the treatment of injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
