Lakewood, CO – Crash with Injuries Reported on W 23rd Place - Burg Simpson

Lakewood, CO (August 31, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Lakewood area ended in injuries. At around midnight on August 31, calls for assistance came in surrounding a crash on West 23rd Place.
Reports from the West Metro Fire Rescue indicate that a collision blocked the 7600 block of West 23rd Place during the early morning hours. The incident prompted emergency crews to remain on-site for over two hours as they worked to clear the roadway.
Emergency medical services responded to the scene to render aid to victims. An undisclosed number of people were transported to local hospitals for further medical care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
