POLICE NEWSGrove City police• Cole McLaren, 22, of State Route 208, New Wilmington, was injured in an accident at 11 a.m. Aug. 18 in the 100 block of George Junior Road. Police said McLaren failed to negotiate a curve and his vehicle left the road and hit a tree. He was taken to a local hospital.
• A resident of Oak Hill Drive reported on Aug. 18 that his personal information was used to fraudulently to file for unemployment benefits, police said.
• Someone found a bicycle Aug. 21 at 319 W. Poplar Street, police said.
• A 74-year-old Blaine Street resident reported she was the victim of an unemployment fraud, police said. Police said her personal information was used to start an account with the state unemployment office.
Hempfield Township police• Michael Alan Marsh, 45, Jackson Center, was injured in an accident at 6:35 a.m. Aug. 12 in the 300 block of Leech Road, Sugar Grove Township. Police said Marsh was traveling west on Leech Road, went off the road and hit several trees.
• Shirley Macintire, 74, Jackson Center, sustained minor injuries in an accident at 2:57 p.m. Aug. 16 in the 300 block of Hadley Road, Hempfield Township. Police said Macintire was driving east on Hadley Road when a tree fell onto the road into her path. She was taken to a local hospital.
• Jeremy Mink, 50, and Thomas Sicignano Jr., 69, both Greenville, were charged with endangering the welfare of children and reckless endangerment after a reported incident at 3:12 p.m. June 30, Hempfield Township....
