Wake Up Call: Winston Rents Waco, Texas Close to Patent Action - Bloomberg Law

In today’s column, Big Law firms have tried hard to keep their talent happy in the last year, but they’re under pressure to do more; Epstein Becker Green, Cozen O’Connor, and Rimon P.C., all announced new office launches; online message board platform Reddit is reportedly looking to hire lawyers for a $15 billion IPO in New York.
Leading off, Winston & Strawn is “renting space” in Waco, Texas, to allow its 40 or so intellectual property lawyers in the state to work closer to the Western District of Texas federal courthouse that has recently been a hotspot for patent trials. The firm doesn’t plan to open a full-scale office in the city. (Texas Lawyer)
