With 159 doses per 100 persons, Cayman is at the top of the pack of 26 Caribbean Member States when it comes to the level and rate of vaccination for COVID-19.
This is according to the latest September 2 report from the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA).
CARPHA shared that based on data reported by the PanAmerican Health Organisation (PAHO), as of August 27, 2021, approximately 3,734,136 doses have been administered in twenty-six Caribbean Member States.

Since each dose is counted in these statistics, the number of doses per 100 people can be higher than 100.
As of September 3, there have been 101,466 COVID-19 vaccinations given in total in the Cayman Islands. Of these, 51,803 (73 per cent of 71,106) have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 49,663 (70 per cent) have completed the two-dose course.
