Jenkintown — the first in Pennsylvania — but that’s not the last. The fast-growing cookie shop Crumbl Cookies has opened in Jenkintown.

The 2,200-square-foot Crumbl Cookies opened on Friday, August 27, 1595, at the Baederwood Shoppes on the Jenkintown fairway fairway.

Customers who heard about the opening of the store lined up before the store opened, waiting for a chance to buy popular sweets and try them, so the line continued day and night.

The northeast is a new market for fast-growing chains. There are no stores in New York, New Jersey, or New England, except in the Boston area.

And now there is Jenkintown.

According to franchise owner Chris Hammer, a former professional sports executive from Lancaster who currently lives in northern Virginia, several people from New York and New Jersey came over the weekend of the grand opening. He said he and his wife Natalia are looking for a home in the Sangun area.

Crumbl Cookies was founded in 2017 by cousins and cookie enthusiasts, Crumbl COO Sawyer Hemsley, and Crumbl CEO Jason McGowan. Pair opened its first store in Logan, Utah. Fast-forwarding for four years, the company has grown to more than 200 stores in 32 states and is almost entirely marketing on social media. Crumbl Cookies has about 1.6 million followers on TikTok.

Crumbl has a menu with 120 unique flavors that the company rotates weekly. According to Hummer, the store offers six types of cookies each week. All stores offer two standard cookies each week. Warm...
