Ravens News: Marquise Brown Shares Great Injury Update - The Duel

Prior to training camp, the Baltimore Ravens had high hopes for their new-look wide receiver depth chart that featured newcomers Sammy Watkins and Rashod Bateman. But, the Ravens pass-catchers started dropping like flies throughout training camp.
Fortunately, Baltimore's top wide receiver Marquise Brown appears to be back to 100% for Week 1 of the 2021 season. Brown recently shared a much-needed injury update on Monday.

According to the third-year wideout, the training camp injuries are a thing of the past. "I plan on hitting it rolling this game," said Brown while citing that he and quarterback Lamar Jackson "picked up where we left off" upon his return to practice.
The Ravens will need Brown to take another big step forward in 2021. The young pass-catcher led Baltimore with 100 targets last season, however, he only hauled in 58 receptions. He did put up 769 receiving yards and 8 touchdowns and will be relied heavily upon as both Boykin and Bateman start the year on the injured reserve.
Baltimore is desperate to improve upon a passing unit that ranked dead last in the NFL with 171.2 passing yards per game in 2020. Heading into Week 1, the Ravens are 4.5-point road favorites against the Las Vegas Raiders on FanDuel Sportsbook.
