Truman Bodden Law School graduate recognized for academic performance | Loop Cayman Islands - Loop News Cayman

The Truman Bodden Law School held its 2021 Graduation and Award Ceremony on Friday, July 30 2021 at the Governor’s Ballroom of The Westin Casuarina Hotel, bestowing a awards to its devoted law students who through their dedication managed to overcome the hardships of the global pandemic and successfully complete their respective programmes. Among the most decorated of the night was University of Liverpool – Bachelor of Laws (Honours) Degree recipient, Tiffany Titus.

In addition to being a First Class Honours Prize Winner, Ms Titus received three separate awards in recognition of her scholastic merit.

These were as follows:

  • The Tim Shea Memorial Prize for Best Performance over the Honours Degree Programme,
  • The Dean’s Prize of the School of Law and Social Justice, Liverpool University for Outstanding Performance, and
  • Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce Prize for Best Performance in the 3rd Year Modules.

Chamber of Commerce President Mike Gibbs presented Ms Titus with the Chamber of Commerce award for best performance in the third year of the LL.B assessments. The Chamber presents awards at several graduation ceremonies each year for both public and private schools as part of its commitment to support student academic excellence and workforce development in the community.

In her address to the class, Ms Titus recognized the hardships of pursuing studies during the pandemic and said, "We are graduating and this should definitely be celebrated... Law school has taught us...
