Colorado Springs, CO (September 1, 2021) – An automobile accident reported on Tuesday evening in the Colorado Springs area ended in injuries. At around 4:04 p.m., on August 31, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Lake Plaza Drive.
Reports from authorities indicate that a collision blocked the eastbound side of Lake Plaza Drive just east of the intersection of Venetucci Boulevard. The incident caused some delays throughout the area. Police and firefighters responded to the scene of the accident and rendered aid to victims. At least one person was transported to a local hospital where they underwent further medical care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the Colorado Springs Police Department.
