Greenville, OH – Man Struck by Vehicle on OH-561 near Wagner Rd - Burg Simpson

Greenville, OH (September 1, 2021) – One man was left injured following a pedestrian accident in Greenville Township on Tuesday morning. At around 11:15 a.m., on August 31, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Ohio State Route 561.
Reports from local authorities show that a 56-year-old male was walking in the area of Ohio State Route 571 and Wagner Road when he was struck by a black Chevrolet Silverado. The driver of the vehicle, a 77-year-old male, was traveling east on the roadway when the accident occurred.
The pedestrian sustained injuries in the accident. He was transported to Wayne HealthCare for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
