Lakewood, CO (September 1, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Lakewood area on Tuesday evening ended in injuries. Just before 8 p.m., on August 31, calls for assistance came in regarding a collision that blocked West Center Avenue.
Reports from the West Metro Fire Rescue show that a collision between an undisclosed number of vehicles blocked West Center Avenue in the area of South Wadsworth Boulevard. The incident prompted emergency crews to spend nearly 45-minutes as they worked to clear the scene.
One medic unit responded to the scene of the accident to treat injured parties and transport those in need of further care to local hospitals. At this time, investigations surrounding the cause of the crash are underway with the police in the Lakewood area.
