Lumberton, MS (September 7, 2021) – An vehicle collision in Lumberton on Monday, September 6 resulted in confirmed injuries.
Local officials reported the event at 7:09 p.m. that night. According to initial accounts, the incident occurred near Main Street at Exit 41 on Interstate 59 SB in Pearl River County. As a result of the collision, at least one of the victims suffered unknown injuries.
As a result of the event, all southbound lanes were closed. Ambulances were dispatched to assist the injured and transport them to neighboring hospitals for treatment. The nature of the injuries is still being established. At this time, no more information has been supplied.
