Oxford, MS (September 7, 2021) – Local police were sent to Oxford on Monday, September 6 to help with a traffic incident.
At 2:10 p.m. that day, local police were notified of the crash. According to eyewitness testimony, the incident occurred on Jackson Avenue West. As first responders arrived on the site, many routes were blocked.
At least one person was hurt, according to emergency responders on the site. The injured people were treated on the spot by medical personnel. Early reports did not specify the number of persons present at the time of the event. The severity of the injuries sustained as a result of the event is still unknown.
The incident is currently being investigated by local law enforcement. No more information has been provided at this time.
