Grenada Co, MS (September 8, 2021) – On Saturday, September 4, two people lost their lives after a traffic accident in Grenada County.
The fatal crash reportedly occurred that afternoon. The accident took place near the crossing of MS-7 and County Road 333. Emergency responders were sent to the scene to render aid to the involved parties.
The area was closed for several hours while paramedics were on-site. Local reports confirmed that 21-year-old Ladarrius Campbell of Grenada was killed in the collision. A 4-year-old girl from Holly Springs also suffered fatal injuries. She was later pronounced dead at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
No further information on the incident has been provided at this time. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is underway.
