Golden, CO (September 3, 2021) – An auto accident reported in Golden on Thursday afternoon ended in injuries. At around 1:53 p.m., on September 2, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Highway 40.
Reports from the Golden Police Department show that a collision between vehicles blocked Highway 40 in the area between Interstate 70 and Heritage Road. The incident, which involved a motorcycle, caused severe delays in the area.
Authorities confirmed that at least one person sustained fatal injuries in the accident. Information surrounding the number of injured parties is limited. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation.
