Lakewood, CO (September 4, 2021) – An automobile accident reported in the Lakewood area ended in injuries, according to reports. At around 8:23 p.m., on September 3, emergency crews were requested on-site at a traffic-related incident on Sheridan Boulevard.
Reports from the West Metro Fire Rescue indicate that a collision between vehicles blocked the 1300 block of Sheridan Boulevard during the evening hours. The incident prompted emergency crews to close off the roadway and initiate an expanded collision response effort.
Emergency medical services responded to the scene to treat injured victims. At least one person was transported to a local hospital where they underwent further medical care. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation.
