The Zion Police Department said they received a report of a threatening statement made on social media that mentioned Zion-Benton High School.
Police said in a statement that they identified the source of the post and took the person into custody “pending further investigation.”

“The Zion Police Department would like to thank everyone involved, including the school and concerned citizens, for the information and assistance that was provided,” police officials said.
