Social media goes crazy for teenage tennis sensation Emma Raducanu after historic US Open win - Manchester Evening News

British teenage tennis sensation Emma Raducanu has made history - and social media has gone absolutely crackers.

Her sensational victory at the US Open came in only her second Grand Slam appearance.

The 18-year-old is already a national hero.

The Queen - yes THE QUEEN - said: "It is a remarkable achievement at such a young age, and is testament to your hard work and dedication."

People on social media - tennis fans and those coming fresh to the sport - have gone wild for Raducanu following her victory against against fellow teenager Leylah Fernandez.

Aaron Eastwood tweeted: "Emma Raducanu is a star. That was some match."
