On Friday September 10, officers from the West Bay Police Station along with supporting Units from the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service carried out a search at a residence in the district of West Bay, which resulted in two arrests.
Two West Bay residents were arrested: a 23 year-old male and a 20 year-old female, for possession of ganja with the intent to supply and other related offences.
During the operation, officers recovered approximately 5 pounds of ganja, and other drug related paraphernalia.
The arrested persons were transported to the Cayman Islands Detention Centre where they were interviewed and subsequently bailed.
Investigations are ongoing.
