Lions News: Jeff Okudah Out for Season With Achilles Injury - The Duel

Injuries were an issue last year for 2020 No. 3 overall pick Jeff Okudah, but he was ready to make some noise after an offseason to get healthy. However, things took a sudden turn on Sunday after the Detroit Lions' cornerback needed to be helped off of the field in the fourth quarter.
Early fears about Okudah's injury have become a reality.

Tests have confirmed that Okudah suffered a ruptured Achilles against the San Francisco 49ers. It's gutting news that will end the second-year pro's season prematurely.
Okudah's 2021 debut didn't get off to the greatest start, as he was at fault for giving up a few big plays, but now he'll see his year cut short once again due to injuries.
