Report sheds more light on fatal Aug. 31 Amsterdam car crash - The Recorder

AMSTERDAM — The names of the occupants of two vehicles involved in a fatal collision late last month and new details surrounding the circumstances of the crash have been released in an accident report obtained from city police through a Freedom of Information Law request.
Rochelle Davis, 46, of Ohio, died as the result of injuries sustained in the crash that occurred at the intersection of Guy Park and Steadwell avenues on Aug. 31 around 1:47 p.m.
Davis was the front passenger of a Subaru Forester driven by Glenna Rish, 74, also of Ohio. Rish sustained serious injuries in the accident and was airlifted to Albany Medical Center for treatment.
A juvenile female from Fultonville was also a passenger in the vehicle and was treated for minor injuries at St. Mary’s Hospital following the crash. The juvenile’s name has been withheld due to her age.
