Oxford, MS (September 14, 2021) – At least one person was injured in a serious automobile accident in Oxford on Tuesday, September 14, according to local officials.
The accident happened on Jackson Avenue West, according to reports. The event happened at 1:35 p.m. that afternoon, according to early accounts. To help the victims, emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene. As a result of the event, many lanes of the highway were closed.
At this time, there is inadequate information on the severity of the injuries that have resulted. The area was momentarily shut when local officials came while paramedics treated individuals who had been injured in the accident. Ambulances were dispatched to the location.
