NFL Week 2 injuries: Evan Engram out, Saquon Barkley questionable for 'Thursday Night Football' in Washington - CBS Sports

Injuries are unfortunately just a part of football, and several star players are in danger of missing Week 2 of the regular season. Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski has already ruled out wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. for Sunday, San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert is undergoing season-ending knee surgery, and Saquon Barkley is questionable for "Thursday Night Football."
Below, we will examine the midweek injury reports for all 28 teams scheduled to play Sunday and analyze the final injury report for Thursday night's matchup between the New York Giants and Washington Football Team. New York Giants at Washington Football Team (-3.5)
Giants: G Shane Lemieux (knee), TE Evan Engram (calf), LB Cam Brown (hamstring) OUT; RB Saquon Barkley (knee) QUESTIONABLE
Washington: QB Ryan Fitzpatrick (hip) IR
The Giants are dealing with several notable injuries on offense. Engram missed the season opener with his calf injury and apparently hasn't recovered enough just yet to feel comfortable suiting up. Lemieux will also miss Week 2 after playing 17 snaps in the season opener, and to make matters worse, Barkley is questionable. Coming off of a torn ACL from last season, Barkley has been a limited participant in practice all week. He played just 29 snaps in the season opener and rushed 10 times for 26 yards.
