Talk show host Wendy Williams has tested positive for COVID-19.

The host of the popular Wendy Williams daytime show is one of the breakthrough cases in the United States. Vaccinated people who contract the virus are considered breakthrough cases.

A post on the Wendy Williams Show Instagram account said while going through her health evaluations, Williams tested positive for COVID-19.

Her show, which was scheduled to begin its new season on September 20 has now been rescheduled to October 4.

A week ago, a post on her account said she was dealing with some ongoing health issues and was undergoing medical evaluations and would not be able to complete her promotional activities.

Williams suffers from Grave's Disease, an autoimmune disorder that deals with the overproduction of thyroid hormones according to the Mayo Clinic.

She also has lymphedema, a disease that causes swelling in her legs.
