Blane McCarthy is one of five attorneys practicing in the new Jacksonville office of Miles Mediation & Arbitration at 4651 Salisbury Road, Suite 170, in Southpoint.
“It’s a good fit for my philosophy and expertise and a great opportunity to grow my mediation practice,” McCarthy said.
A Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Mediator for 21 years and member of the Jacksonville Bar Association board of governors, McCarthy said Miles wants to establish a regional presence.
The local office is Miles’ fifth in a network that comprises the Atlanta headquarters and locations in Savannah, Georgia; Charlotte, North Carolina; Nashville, Tennessee; and Jacksonville.
“We’ve been planning to expand to Florida for some time. With our most recent Nashville expansion up and running successfully, it’s the perfect time,” said CEO John Miles in a news release.
In addition to McCarthy, the “neutrals” in Jacksonville are Robert Coles, Jennifer Grippa, John McCorvey and Jeff Ward.
Miles offers mediation services for business, commercial, construction, employment, insurance coverage, family law, personal injury, professional negligence and wrongful death matters.
