Kadarius Toney vents frustration on social media after lack of targets in Giants loss - Saturday Down South

Week 2 of the 2021 NFL season has started and the New York Giants are already in terrible shape. The Giants suffered their second loss of the season on Thursday Night Football on the road to the Washington Football Team. One player that is visibly upset is former Florida wide receiver and Giants rookie Kadarius Toney.

In the game against Washington, Toney only played in 19 snaps and was not targeted by quarterback Daniel Jones. So far this season, Toney has posted 2 receptions for -2 yards, with his longest catch being four yards. Last night, Toney took to Instagram to air out his frustrations so far this season.

“I don’t be mad s–t just be lame to me fr.”

Toney appeared to be disgruntled as he was talking with Giants head Joe Judge during the game on Thursday Night Football.

Toney was drafted with the No. 20 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Giants to be one of the most versatile and explosive receivers for the Giants’ offense. He is currently fourth on the depth chart at wide receiver behind Kenny Golladay, Sterling Shepard, and Darius Slayton.
