Batsman Sherfane Rutherford has arrived in the United Arab Emirates to join the Indian Premier League (IPL) team, the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The 23-year-old was brought in on Saturday to replace England's Jonny Bairstow in the Sunrisers team for Phase 2 of the 2021 IPL.
Rutherford was the second-highest run-scorer for the Patriots, behind tournament top-scorer Evin Lewis.
The Patriots won the 2021 CPL title on Wednesday, beating the St Lucia Kings in a thrilling three-wicket win.
The Guyana-born batsman scored 262 runs in 10 innings at 37.42 with three half-centuries.
Rutherford has played in the IPL before with the Delhi Capitals, where he scored 73 runs in seven matches at 14.60.
He has also plied his trade as a T20 freelancer with the Sylhet Thunder (2019-2020), the Karachi Kings (2020), and the Peshawar Zalmi (2021).
Rutherford's new team, the Sunrisers Hyderabad, restart their IPL campaign against his old team, the Delhi Capitals, on 22 September in Dubai.
He could play against former Guyana Amazon Warriors team-mate Shimron Hetmyer in next Wednesday's match.
