Teen kills family, posts grisly images on social media before killing himself - ABC NEWS 4

ARANSAS PASS, Texas (KABB/WOAI) — A 15-year-old teenager killed himself after allegedly posting graphic photos of his dead family members and threatened an area school, according to Aransas Police.

Police said they were notified around 2 a.m. Thursday of the threats made by a teenager that he had killed his family and posted the grisly photos on social media.

They were able to track the suspect down to Aransas Oaks RV Park off S. Commercial Street in Ingleside, Texas. Officers tried to get the young boy to come out, but he refused. The officers then heard a single gunshot and a thud. After entering the RV, the officers found the graphic scene that was shared over social media.

The young boy was found dead of a gunshot wound. Along with the boy, there were three other bodies and two dead dogs in the RV as well.

According to the San Patricio Sheriff's Officer, the person who died of suicide was 15-year-old William Quince Colburn III. The other deceased persons were 63-year-old William Colburn Jr., 53-year-old Jenna Colburn and 13-year-old Emma Colburn.

Aransas Pass Police made it clear that there is no continuing threat to any students or school staff in the area.

Police are still investigating.
