HostColor.com (HC) has announced that its Edge Server customers can now lease Edge Bare Metal Servers on 24-hour, 3-day, and 1-week contracts. Additionally, custom time-sensitive contracts can be arranged upon request.
Three standardized, cloud-ready bare metal server configurations are available in all U.S. and international data centers.
The first entry-level Edge Dedicated Server configuration is based on the Intel Xeon Silver 4210 processor with 128GB of RAM and 480GB of SSD storage. The other two standardized edge server hosting plans are based on Intel Xeon Gold 6226R and Intel Xeon Gold 5218N processors.
The second edge configuration features a bare metal server with dual (2x) Intel Xeon Gold 6226R processors, 256 GB of RAM, and a 2.4 TB NMVe storage array.
The third bare-metal configuration features a Dual (2x) Intel Xeon Gold 5218N CPU, 384 GB RAM, and a 10 TB storage array, comprising four (4x) 1.92 TB SSD and two (2x) 1.6 TB NMVe drives.
HostColor's customers have the option of selecting from the following Linux distributions: Ubuntu 22.04, Ubuntu 20.04, Rocky Linux 9, Rocky Linux 8, Debian 12, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux versions 9.3, 9.0, 8.5, and 7.9 are available for selection. The Edge Bare Metal Servers are designed for organizations that require a private cloud infrastructure and data protection with custom firewall policies and local storage.
