Global hosting infrastructure provider HostColor.com (HC) has announced new bare metal servers delivered from New Jersey data centers located in Newark, Secaucus, North Bergen, Carteret, and Piscataway New Jersey.
All HC's New Jersey edge dedicated servers feature 250 Mbps to 30 Gbps bandwidth ports and offer unlimited data transfer to the full capacity of the bandwidth port. Users are not charged for any inbound or outbound Internet traffic. They can run any Linux OS distribution or Windows OS, or create virtualized and containerized computing infrastructures using Proxmox VE, VMware ESXi, Linux Containers, VirtualBox, OpenVZ, Linux Containers, Kubernetes and Docker virtualization platforms.
In addition to high bandwidth, unlimited data transfer, and a wide choice of available operating systems and virtualization technologies, HostColor's Edge Servers are also "Semi-Managed", providing New Jersey and neighboring East Coast businesses and organizations with cost savings, often amounting to thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars per month, compared to large cloud infrastructure providers such as ASW, Azure, and others.
Semi-Managed Edge Infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS)
As part of HostColor's Semi-Managed Dedicated Server service agreement, the company's administrators are responsible for installing and configuring server instances to the client's custom configurations for both Linux and Windows environments. In addition, HC Support reinstalls the server's operating system (OS) upon request, configures and manages network settings, creates and maintains custom virtual private networks, and assists customers in troubleshooting any server-side issues related to OS, network, or software configuration.
"We continue to expand our edge locations to provide high-performance bare-metal server hosting services. Businesses need robust server platforms to process data in a digital economy where application and IT workflows require ever-increasing computing power. HostColor's high-bandwidth bare-metal servers address the most intensive use case scenarios, including machine learning, big data, analytics, video editing, research, high-performance virtualization workloads, etc.," said Dimitar Avramov, CEO of HostColor. He adds that users of HC's edge bare-metal hosting services can use their preferred cloud computing virtualization technology to create and deploy a dedicated cloud infrastructure on a single bare-metal server or cluster of servers.
All New Jersey-based Edge Bare Metal Servers feature custom IPv4 and IPv6 network settings and configurations, allowing users to create optimized, low-latency public and private IP networks.
HostColor recently announced St. Louis-hosted Edge Servers and semi-managed Dedicated Servers with 100Gbps bandwidth ports and unlimited data transfer up to the capacity of the Internet connection port in Amsterdam, Atlanta, Denver, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, New York, and Sao Paulo.
