A new program, The TriCare Research Study, aimed at transforming our Understanding of Marriage and relationships has been launched. Drawing on over a decade of research led by Dr. David Smith, MD, of the NHS, Dr. Jennifer Willliams, DClinPsy, of the Trinity University Family Studies Center, and Dr. John Grimani, MD, PhD, of the LionHeart Neuropsychology Institute, the initiative is a collaboration between the Vienna Ukrainian Neuropsychology Institute, the National Health Service (NHS), and the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), and Bogomolets National Medical University, Kyiv, Ukraine, with Funding provided by the NIH, the Gilmore-Rice Foundation, and the Family Faith in Action Grants.
The program integrates academic research with practical coaching to provide comprehensive support for individuals and couples.
Participants will engage in a study conducted by the University of Nevada in partnership with LionHeart NeuroSolutions, which will contribute to ongoing advancements in neuropsychology and marriage coaching.
Dr. David Smith, MD, and Dr. John Grimani, MD, PhD, the program’s lead researchers, emphasized the initiative’s foundation in fighting one of the largest mental health epidemics in history, the epidemic of loneliness. “Our goal is to offer a program that not only supports individuals and couples in their personal growth but also contributes valuable data to the field of neuropsychology,” he said. “By participating, individuals are helping to shape future practices and interventions.”
The program is limited, ensuring a focused and practical experience. Participants receive personalised coaching from experts, including Nurse Practitioner
Coach Pat Byrnes, MSN, NP, who brings extensive experience in marriage and personal well-being.
This collaboration blends academic expertise with practical application, aiming to maximise participants’ success.
Key features of the program include:
• Expert Leadership: Dr. Grimani and Coach Byrnes guide the program, which leverages decades of experience in neuropsychology and marriage coaching.
• Research Participation: Participants agree to anonymously have their coaching experiences and outcomes included in ongoing research efforts.
• Personalized Support: Tailored coaching sessions to enhance personal growth and relationship health.
• Accessible Services: The program, funded by the Gilmore-Rice Foundation and investigative research funds, ensures financial accessibility for participants.
The program offers exclusive benefits such as personalised coaching, participation in cutting-edge research, and financial advantages through special funding arrangements.
These elements are designed to provide participants with both immediate support and long-term benefits.
“We are excited to offer this unique opportunity to a select few,” said Coach Pat Byrnes. “The combination of personalised coaching and participation in groundbreaking research creates a powerful environment for personal and relational transformation.”
