Joint Replacement Surgeons Eric Grossman & Dan Smith Join Practice
January 7, 2019 - Rothman Orthopaedic Institute is launching Hip and Knee Joint Replacement services in New York. Eric Grossman, MD, will lead the service line in our New York City office while Daniel Smith, MD, will anchor the Tarrytown office in Westchester County. Both will begin seeing patients January 7, 2019 and are accepting all major insurances. These services will significantly expand the joint replacement services already offered for the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and ankle.

Dr. Grossman comes to Rothman Orthopaedics from CareMount Medical Group in Westchester County where he specialized in primary and revision joint replacement, and robotic-assisted partial and total knee replacement.

Prior to joining Rothman Orthopaedics, Dr. Smith was a practicing joint surgeon at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City with a focus in navigation-assisted joint replacement surgery. He completed his Fellowship in Adult Joint Reconstruction at New York University – Hospital for Joint Diseases, and his residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY.
