The Breasties Welcome New Board Members

The Breasties 501(c)(3) welcomes it's newly elected Board members are Nancy Feintuch, Ellen Matloff, Geraldine Pamphile, Dr. Anne Peled, and new Chair of the Board Mary Dee



The Breasties are excited to announce their new Board of Directors, which will serve for a term of 3 years.

New York, NY.The Breasties, a 501(c)(3) announced the appointment of five new members to the company’s Board of Directors, as well as a new Chair of the Board, effective June 19, 2020.

The mission of the Breasties is to empower those affected by breast and reproductive cancers by igniting strength and positivity through connection, free retreats, wellness activities, events and an all-inclusive resourceful online community. We’re looking to raise at least $500,000 dollars before the year ends so we can continue securing retreats, camp Breastie and the operating costs of the non-profit. We want to keep all support services and retreats as free as possible for this amazing community. 

The Breasties announces the election of four new members to its Board of Directors. The newly elected Board members are Nancy Feintuch, Ellen Matloff, Geraldine Pamphile, Dr. Anne Peled, and new Chair of the Board Mary Dee. Breasties Co-Founder, Paige More, announced, “I am thrilled to welcome these five talented powerhouse females as new, fresh leadership for the Breasties. Their unique backgrounds and diverse experience will make them a great asset to our non-profit board and the organization.”

“We are so thrilled to meet a milestone in the organization of having a diverse, five member Board in addition to an Advisory Council and  Community Board. We’re still learning and growing and we’re confident that our new Board of Directors are going to take the organization to new heights,” said Allie Brumel, Breasties’ Officer and Co-Founder.

The Breasties’ Board of Directors include:

Ellen T. Matloff, MS, CGC is a certified genetic counselor and the President and CEO of My Gene Counsel, a digital health company that provides scalable, updating genetic counseling solutions.  Matloff founded the Yale Cancer Genetic Counseling program, served as its director and a faculty member at Yale School of Medicine for 18 years, and was a lead plaintiff in the SCOTUS BRCA gene patent case of 2013. She works closely with patient advocates in the areas of genetic counseling and testing and is an expert in responsible return of genetic test results for population studies, health care systems, and precision medicine partners. Matloff serves as the Forbes.com contributor on genetic counseling, genetic testing, and digital health.

Géraldine Pamphile, MS, has over eighteen years of experience in media, advertising, licensing and retail. She currently runs strategic partnerships at Magic Leap, the spatial computing pioneer. Before joining Magic Leap in 2019, she was Vice President International Business Development, Global Content and Media Distribution at the NBA where she was a member of the management team that leads expansion strategy and business development of the league properties (NBA, WNBA, G-League, NBA 2K e-sport and USA Basketball). She focused on new distribution opportunities for the organization’s TV and digital assets and all digital content prospects for the league sponsorship globally. Géraldine has an MBA from the University of Hong Kong (in collaboration with Columbia and London Business School), a Masters degree from the Institut Supérieur de Commerce de Paris and more recently, she completed the Business of Entertainment Media and Sport executive education program of Harvard Business School.

Nancy Feintuch is a semi-retired CFO for a family owned steel company, where she continues to assist the family with both personal and business financial projects. She has over 35 years of experience working in accounting for small and medium sized businesses. In her free time, she likes to read, play golf and bike. She loves gourmet cooking for family and friends. Nancy is looking forward to being a part of the Breasties Board of Directors where she can use her vast knowledge of all business and accounting functions to help support the community.

Dr. Anne Peled, MD, is a practicing breast cancer and plastic surgeon based in San Francisco. She is board-certified in plastic surgery and has fellowship training in breast surgical oncology, making her uniquely able to offer both breast oncologic and reconstructive surgical care. She is the co-director of the Breast Care Center of Excellence at Sutter Health California Pacific Medical Center. She has an extensive research experience focused on improving outcomes after breast cancer surgery and breast reconstruction and is currently involved in research looking at novel approaches to optimize patient satisfaction and quality-of-life after breast surgery. As a breast cancer survivor herself, Dr. Peled has a passion for educating patients and health care professionals about oncoplastic surgery and breast reconstruction options, regularly teaching at courses across the U.S. to increase awareness around these approaches.

The new Chair of the Board, Mary Dee, is a Speaker and CXO Consultant with a specialty in business operations and was formerly a Founding Breasties Advisory Board Member.  She’s a breast cancer survivor with a passion for leadership, overcoming fear and healthy mindset practices. Mary has been helping entrepreneurs solve their biggest strategic problems and has led international world class organizations for over 20 years. She’s well versed in virtual events, retreats and creating environments of connectedness and camaraderie through authentic communication. She looks forward to using her for-profit expertise to leverage opportunities, systems and processes to further extend the reach of the Breasties mission. 

The new Chair of the Board, Mary Dee, is a Speaker and CXO Consultant with a specialty in business operations and was formerly a Founding Breasties Advisory Board Member.  She’s a breast cancer survivor with a passion for leadership, overcoming fear and healthy mindset practices.
