Where to catch this 8th wonder of the world, although the paths can change based on the rain and green grazing pastures:
- December to March: Ndutu area in the far south portion of the Serengeti
- April and May: central Serengeti
- June and July: herd splits to the western corridor and to the north of the Serengeti
- August to October: along the Mara River
