Albuquerque, NM (August 22, 2021) - On Friday, August 20, emergency personnel were rushed to the scene of a major vehicle crash in Albuquerque.

Witnesses said paramedics were initially seen at the intersection of Interstate 40 WB and Coors Boulevard. The event was reported to local police at 5:57 p.m. that day. Ambulances were summoned to transport the accident victims to nearby hospitals.

As a result of the incident, at least one person was injured on the site. The roadway was reduced to a single lane as a result of the collision. The nature and severity of the injuries incurred as a result of the incident are unknown at this time.

The incident is currently under investigation, and further information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
