Colorado Springs, CO (August 25, 2021) – Authorities in the Colorado Springs area were requested at the scene of a traffic-related incident that ended in injuries. At around 7:11 a.m., on August 25, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on East Platte Avenue.
Reports from local authorities indicate that a collision blocked East Platte Avenue at the intersection of North Weber Street during the morning hours. The crash prompted crews to close off the roadway for an extended time as they worked to clear the scene. At least one person was transported to a nearby hospital for medical care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
