Colorado Springs, CO (August 25, 2021) – A traffic-related incident reported on Wednesday morning in the Colorado Springs area ended in injuries and delays. At around 10:07 a.m., on August 25, emergency crews were notified that a crash on East Fillmore Street required assistance.
Reports from local authorities indicate that a collision blocked the right lanes of eastbound East Fillmore Street at the intersection of North Prospect Street. Emergency crews responded to the scene and closed off the intersection as they worked to remove vehicles from the roadway.
EMS tended to victims while at the scene of the accident. At least one injured victim was transported to a local hospital for further care. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the police in Colorado Springs.
