Colorado Springs, CO (August 27, 2021) – An automobile accident reported in the Colorado Springs area ends in injuries, according to authorities. At approximately 1 p.m., on August 26, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on East Bijou Street. Reports from the Colorado Springs Police Department indicate that a collision between vehicles blocked East Bijou Street in the area of North Union Boulevard during the afternoon hours. The incident caused moderate delays on the southbound side of the roadway. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for medical care.
