Raleigh, NC (August 29, 2021) – Around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday evening, August 29, a car crash with injuries occurred on a residential street in Raleigh. According to officers with the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at 3221 Lake Woodard Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided for unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged due to the crash. Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment. However, their conditions are not known at this time. The roadway was closed through the 3000 block of Lake Woodard until police fully cleared the scene. No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
