Oxford, MS (August 31, 2021) – An automobile accident in Oxford on Tuesday, August 31 resulted in confirmed injuries.
Local officials reported the incident at 10:05 a.m. that morning. According to initial accounts, the incident occurred on N. Lamar Boulevard near the Graduates Hotel. As a result of the collision, at least one of the people involved sustained undisclosed injuries.
The collision caused the scene to be closed for several hours. Ambulances were dispatched to assist the injured and transport them to neighboring hospitals for treatment. The specific nature of the injuries has yet to be determined. At this time, no more information has been supplied.
