Three Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10 at State Highway 123 in Seguin - The Benton Law Firm

Seguin, TX. (August 31, 2021)- 48-year-old Jason A. Howell, 36-year-old Jason N. Sanchez and 37-year-old Joseph D. Cline were killed in a multi-vehicle crash on August 26, 2021 in Seguin, Texas. The accident occurred Thursday afternoon on eastbound Interstate 10 at State Highway 123. Police reported that an 18-wheeler was transporting meat products when it lost its load on the roadway. A second 18-wheeler then swerved to avoid the meat products and crashed into another vehicle and a guardrail. The force of the impact caused the car to catch on fire. Several more vehicles were involved in the chain-reaction crash. Howell, Sanchez and Cline were pronounced dead at the scene. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
