Brighton, CO (August 29, 2021) – An automobile accident reported in the Brighton area ended in injuries. At around 4:44 a.m., on August 29, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on US Highway 85.
Reports from local authorities indicate that a collision blocked the northbound side of US Highway 85 in the area of Colorado State Highway 7. The incident caused moderate delays in the area as crews worked to clear the roadway. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further care. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation.
